In this world, we all have troubles and trials, if you are in the middle of tough times today, look to God. The Bible says that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. He is the one who writes faith on your heart and then develops it to completion on the inside of you as you yield yourself to Him. Your part is to seek Him daily. Follow His commands. Open your heart and choose to speak His Word which is alive and active. Remember, your trials are only temporary, but His eternal glory outweighs it all! I pray this brings to Faith, Hope, and Love to you my friend; knowing that you're not alone! |
Let's pray:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast my cares on You, knowing that my trials and troubles are temporary. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always in Jesus’ name. Amen."
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."
(2 Corinthians 4:17, NIV)
God is far more interested in building your character than He is in anything else.
Your spiritual transformation—developing the character of Jesus—will take the rest of your life. And even then, it won’t be completed here on Earth. It will only be finished when we get to heaven or when Jesus returns.
Becoming like Jesus is your greatest privilege, your immediate responsibility, and your ultimate destiny.
My prayer for you today is to continue to DESIRE to grow spiritually. Allow God to complete the work that He's started in each of us.
Paul said, “This will continue until we are... mature, just as Christ is, and we will be completely like him” (Ephesians 4:13 CEV).

"Be clean, you who bear the vessels of the Lord.” Isaiah 52:11 NKJVSpiritually speaking, Are the glasses you're looking through clean? When you look through the lens of jealousy and envy, you become resentful of the blessings of others. When you look through the lens of judgmentalism, you speak and act without mercy and grace. When you look through the lens of fear and unbelief, you limit God and forfeit what He can do for you. When you look through the lens of selfishness, you put yourself first and your loved ones suffer. When you look through the lens of negativity and cynicism, people begin to avoid you because you're not enjoyable to be around. "Be clean, you who bear the vessels of the Lord." Just as your glasses need to be wiped clean from the contamination around you, so do your heart and mind. How does this happen? Jesus said, "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you" (Jn 15:3). Through prayer and daily Bible reading, your perspective on life is kept right. Let's keep our spiritual lenses clean, in Jesus Name. |
The bible tells us what we feed our minds is just as important as what we feed our bodies.
What's going in your mind?
As I took time this morning to sit quietly before the Lord, I was reminded that I must maintain a balance in what I do. My flesh vs. My spirit.
For example, the amount of television I noticed that I watched last week compared to the amount of time I spent reading my Word was off balance.
As I began to journal; I asked myself, what am I escaping to? Am I avoiding my own feelings? These are questions we must ask ourselves.
I'm learning it's important to bring this to the Lord. To be honest because He knows ALL.
I wanted to leave you with something to ponder... Do I have a healthy spiritual balance?
Let us replace the poison and junk with Super food, which is the Word of God!!

Heavenly Father,
As we quiet our spirits and reflect on the Word of God, I thank you for the peace that passes all my understanding.
Help us to seek Your peace daily. Where there's bitterness, strife, discord, and division, we seek your peace and forgiveness.
Where there is a war (Ukraine), may your peace cover and restore what has been broken, in our homes, families, and within ourselves.
Thank you for Your word that guides us back to you. Help us to find comfort and safety in your outstretched arms.
Thank you, Abba Father, for your peace that is always available to us.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen
Blessings,
Wendy
]]>I must be honest:
There are times when i've doubted my self-worth, or should I say compared myself to what our society has defined as being wonderfully made. The pressure of measuring up seems to be never-ending; Who can keep up? From plastic surgery, obtaining high numbers via social media, not to mention the intense pressure of being a wife, mom, daughter, friend... This can all be so overwhelming! I've learned that ONLY GOD is the perfect example, therfore to strive for preferection is meaningless. This scripture reminds me that I must maintain a posture of humilty, peace, and gratitude.
I must seek Him daily, seeking Him on occassion when I'm feeling depleted or in stress mode is not enough. The psalmist reminds us that He wants us to stay connected such as, He's the vine and we are the branches (stay close to Him).
He is our resting place!! We were made to fellowship with Him daily. I'm learning through prayer, worship, studying His Word, We refresh ourselves in His presence. God alone is enough!
Dear Lord, I pray that a refreshing come over my life. I ask you to deepen my understanding of who You are. Deepen my desire for your word and your sweet gentle presence to saturate me. Lord, I invite your truth to invade my mind, will, and emotions. I declare that I grow in prayer and study Today! I say nothing shall come to hinder, abort, or stunt the process of maturity in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen

With each season and transition in life, one thing that remains consistent:
God is With you! If God be for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31).
When God reassured Noah in Genesis that His covenant would always remain, this provides me with so much peace. As I reflect on the times when it seemed as if life was too uncertain, and overwhelming, God's word is true. He's FAITHFUL! Today I encourage you to rest in His word; We may not have all the answers but I know that God is ALWAYS working behind the scenes on our behalf.
Because of God's promises, We have Faith, Grace, Mercy, and most importantly His Love that never fails. ~Stay encouraged.
~Shalom
